Mission and Vision
The Father’s House exists to help people find their way home to God and live as disciples who CARE
What does finding home mean?
Finding Home is all about relationships. Primarily, it’s about our relationship with God, but it also involves our relationships with ourselves and others.
Relationship with God: This is the reason the human family was created—to know God. So, TFH exists to help people “find their way home” to Him. Relationship with God begins when we believe in Jesus Christ as our Saviour from sin.
Relationship with Ourselves: Having a right relationship with yourself is about discovering and growing in your God-given identity. The Bible has a lot to say about who you are in Christ. You are a new creation (2 Corinthinas 5:17), you are God’s masterpiece (Ephesians 2.10) and you are chosen (Ephesians 1.4) are a few examples of who you are in Christ.
Relationship with Others: There are two types of people in this category. There are those that have found home and there are those that are still searching.
The Bible says that Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost! He created the church for the same reason, so that is why TFH exists… to help people find home. “For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10
Jesus also created the church to help believers in Him to grow, mature, and live as disciples. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
What does it mean to CARE?
CARE is an acronym for our core values. Every home has values, principles or rules to live by. At The Father’s House Church, we have four values.
