Commit to Grow
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. Ephesians 4:15
The Bible instructs us to grow, and that growth is measured by something called “Christ-likeness.” It is our responsibility, in partnership with God, to shape our lives into the image of Christ. This includes learning about who God is, what his Word says and how to have a relationship with him. To help you grow, we offer a New Believers’ Class, Discipleship School, and other classes throughout the year. You are also invited to join us for Morning Prayer–a time where we discuss a short portion of the Bible and ask God to provide for the needs of our church and community.
New Believers’ Class
We run a 12 week New Believers’ Class called Alpha at different times throughout the year.
“Repackaged for today’s audience, the Alpha Film Series is emotive, engaging and epic in scale and scope. Nicky Gumbel and two new presenters, Toby Flint and Gemma Hunt, walk through the basics of the Christian faith in a way that everyone can relate to. The episodes feature inspiring stories and interviews from all around the world, as well as visual illustrations and motion graphics.” (alphacanada.org)
Discipleship School is designed to help people grow in their God-given purpose and identity. We want to see our students build a foundation for their lives that will last a lifetime. The program lasts eight months and runs from September to April. It includes class time, hands-on training and a missions trip.

Wednesday Evening Classes
We offer a variety of classes to help you grow as a disciple of Jesus. The classes may change from year to year, but some of the classes we have offered include Hearing God, Old Testament Survey and New Testament Survey. Classes usually start with coffee, refreshments and some light snacks. Sometimes the classes run on Wednesday evenings for an hour, or on Saturday mornings.

Prayer is essential for our growth as believers and simply means talking to God. He wants to hear your thoughts, needs, and desires. You can talk to him about everything; he hears you and answers you, too. Plus, prayer is a way you can thank God for all he is doing in your life. You can send us a prayer request, as well as join us for morning prayer.
