Discipleship School

 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” Matthew 4:19

Jesus gave the first call to discipleship when He invited people like Peter, James, John, Matthew, and others to “Follow me.” And today, through the local church, Jesus extends the same invitation to all believers. The Father’s House Discipleship School was launched in 2006 with a vision for practically equipping and mobilizing modern day disciples within the local church, preparing them for their various roles in life, the marketplace, and in ministry.

What does Discipleship School look like?

Number of Students: TFHDS is conducted when there is sufficient interest in the program and requires a minimum participation of 4 full-time students. If you are interested in this program, let our staff know as soon as possible.

Duration: The program is eight months and runs from September to April.

Schedule: TBA. Class times attempt to take into consideration the needs of students, most of whom work or have other family commitments. Classes typically fill 16 hours a week, spread over the course of 3-4 days (for example. Tuesday 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.).

Requirements: Students are required to attend Sunday Services at a Father’s House Church site, or their own home church. Practical service volunteering within the church is also required. Church attendance and volunteer service fall outside of scheduled class time.

Tuition and Fees

There is a $50, non refundable application fee

There is a $100 deposit due within 30 days of receiving your school acceptance lettter

Tuition is $3000 and includes books.

Note: A charitable donations receipt cannot be issued for the cost of tuition. Since The Father’s House Discipleship School is no an accredited school, students will not be able to claim tuition in their tax return.

 

Payments of $375 per month can be paid monthly for tuition. Payments are due on the 15th of the month.

The approximate cost of the missions trip is $2000

Note: This amount can be reduced through fundraising. A charitable donations receipt is available for the cost of the missions trip.

Students are responsible for their own living arrangements and expenses. Some incidental costs (e.g. passports, vaccinations, medications, etc) are not covered under tuition or missions trip fees.
